If your audience is getting a message "Things Don’t Appear to be Working at the Moment. Please Try Again." when trying to enter a credit card without a PayPal account (aka Guest Credit Card Checkout" you need to verify the that your your Business PayPal account set up with "PayPal Account Optional"
- Open your PayPal Account
- Via the Gear Icon (upper right) select "Account Settings"
- In the left side menu under "Products & Services" select "Website Payments"
- Halfway down the list in the middle is "Website Preferences"
- Scroll down and you'll see "PayPal Account Optional" - this must be enabled
